Overview

Acne is a skin condition that arises when our pores get clogged by oily secretions. These clogged pores develop into pimples. In more severe cases, they develop into lumps below the skin’s surface that can cause irritation and possible infection. This is commonly referred to as cystic acne. We treat all types of acne conditions through a thorough evaluation to determine the cause and most appropriate treatment including prescription medications, medical-grade skincare, and treatments such as acne-prone facials to help jumpstart your regimen.

  • Then, manual extractions are performed to alleviate stubborn congestion and unclog whiteheads and blackheads.
  • Following extractions, an antiseptic/antibacterial post-extraction solution is applied to bring the skin back to a normal pH and to aid in preventing post-facial breakouts.
  • Our LED facial, a High-frequency current may also be applied to the extraction area to kill bacteria, calm the skin, and accelerate healing.
  • Finally, A hydrating, calming serum is then applied to the skin followed by a sterile hydrating bio-cellulose soothing mask to create a protective barrier on the skin to reduce redness and help heal blemishes.
