Dr. Weishar graduated from Yale University and University of Pennsylvania Medical School. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Tufts and a second residency in Dermatology at Cornell-NY Hospital. She is Board Certified in both specialties. Dr. Weishar is on the staff of Abington Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she holds a Clinical Associate Professor position. Her interests in dermatology are in the laser/cosmetic area as well as Dermasurgery. Dr. Weishar also writes a blog for Huffington Post where she shares the most up to date information on Dermatology.. She has been featured on NBC 10! Moms on the Move and has also been a monthly commentator on CN8 Your Morning. Dr. Weishar has been featured on ABC, NBC, and Comcast Newsmakers and is currently working on a project called "Ban the Tan" with her twin daughters, to promote sun safe behavior among teens. Dr. Weishar also has an active life outside the practice as a mom of three accomplished young adults and spends time pursuing her love of theater and performing.
Sarah is a native of Allentown, PA and attended James Madison University where she earned a B.A. in Marketing in 2008. She went on to attend Dermal Science International Institute where she graduated with her M.A. in Aesthetics in 2014, which included training in Lasers, Dermaplaning, Microcurrent, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels and Skin Rejuvenation. She has extensive experience in treating different skin types and conditions affecting the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin. Sarah is highly knowledgeable about skincare and wellness, and is also a certified Barre and Tabata Boot Camp instructor.
