Dr. Ashley Clark, MD, MAS

Dr. Ashley Clark is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care. A California native, she grew up in Los Angeles before attending the University of California, Davis, where she graduated with summa cum laude distinction. She completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, the top dermatology training program in the nation, and was elected as Chief Resident.

During her time at UC Davis, Dr. Clark was deeply involved in community service, spending weekends running a free clinic for an underserved rural community. She also conducted research on the gut microbiome’s connection to acne, earning her the prestigious NIH-funded TL1 Pre-doctoral Clinical Research Scholar award and a master’s degree in Clinical Translational Research. Her research has led to over 50 publications.

Following residency, Dr. Clark practiced in California, gaining extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Now, she is excited to return to the greater Philadelphia area to join Springhouse Dermatology, where she continues to provide comprehensive dermatologic care for both pediatric and adult patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Clark has been involved with Guide Dogs for the Blind since 2010, raising and training service animals. She has also fostered countless cats from PAWS in Philadelphia, ensuring many of her co-residents’ homes had one of her fosters before graduating. When not volunteering with animals, she is an avid adventurer who loves exploring new trails with her retired Guide Dog and cheering on her husband at IRONMAN races.
